CO-LAB EDITIONS program was born in 2011, in Berlin, through a collaboration between the artist and independent art curator Márcio Carvalho and the curator Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung. It was a 2 year art and research project that made a considerable and innovative investigation fostering new dialogues about performance, collaboration, and collective and individual memory, that culminated in a final publication with 10 editions, with 27 artists, from 16 different countries and 4 different continents. The program was made by ongoing residencies in which artists from west and non west countries, that use time based art forms as one of their primary working media, were set in a collaboration process that led to a final performance/exhibition at SAVVY Contemporary rt space.
